TERMS OF SERVICE (CastUs™)

By accessing or using CastUs, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. Eligibility

CastUs may be used by:

Adults (16+)

Users aged 16 or older may create and manage their own accounts.

Children Under 16

Children under 16 are allowed on the platform only if a parent or legal guardian creates and manages the account.

The parent/guardian must:

Provide their own contact details

Approve all photos, videos, and portfolio uploads

Monitor communication with casting professionals

Accept responsibility for supervising account activity

If we find a minor account created without guardian involvement, we may restrict or delete it.

2. Account Responsibilities

Users (or guardians, in the case of minors) agree to:

Provide accurate information

Maintain confidentiality of login credentials

Monitor all activity under their account

Not impersonate others

Not share accounts between talent

3. Payments & Membership

Certain features require a paid membership.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe

Membership renews automatically unless cancelled

You may cancel anytime

Fees are non-refundable except as required by Australian consumer law

4. User Content

By uploading content (photos, bio, videos), you confirm:

You own or have permission to use the content

The content does not violate copyright, privacy, or safety laws

Images of minors are uploaded with parent/guardian consent

No nudity, explicit material, or harmful content is allowed

We may remove content that violates these rules.

5. Platform Usage Rules

Users may not:

Harass or exploit other members

Use CastUs for illegal casting or employment scams

Scrape, copy, or harvest talent data

Upload false, misleading, or inappropriate content

Circumvent membership fees

Use the platform for anything unrelated to creative or entertainment industry purposes

6. Talent Directory Access

The directory is reserved for verified, paying members.

Users may not:

Share screenshots of profiles externally

Share active accounts with non-members

Use CastUs talent data for external marketing, spam, or databases

7. No Agency or Employment Guarantee

CastUs is not an agency or management service.

We do not:

Represent talent

Guarantee employment

Negotiate contracts

Vet casting opportunities off-platform

We only provide the connection platform.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend accounts for:

Abuse

Harassment

Violations of these Terms

Illegal or unsafe behavior

Users may delete accounts at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

CastUs is not responsible for:

Disputes between talent and casting directors

Off-platform communication

Outcomes of casting opportunities

Loss or misuse of content posted by the user

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.

Your continued use of CastUs indicates agreement to updated Terms.
